As we mark a once-in-a-lifetime milestone—Delta State University’s Centennial Celebration—we are thrilled to invite you to join us for a special afternoon of events on Monday, September 15, 2025.
📌 Please note: Classes will be canceled from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on this day so that all students, faculty, and staff may participate in the centennial events.
Centennial Celebration Schedule
1:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremony
BPAC Auditorium
A formal program to launch our 100th anniversary celebration.
2:00 p.m. – Reception
BPAC Lobby
Enjoy cake, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate, and fountain punch with the DSU family.
3:00 p.m. – Time Capsule Ceremony
Quadrangle (next to Flag Plaza)
Witness the opening of the 1975 Time Capsule and the burial of our new Centennial Time Capsule.
Special Highlights
Raffle Giveaway: Academic Affairs will raffle 100 Centennial Caps to students, staff, and faculty during the event—don’t miss your chance to win a piece of history!
Student Legacy: Every student currently enrolled at Delta State is part of the first class of DSU’s next 100 years. This is your moment to celebrate and help shape the future of our university.
