Delivering the Warm Homes Plan: Practical Solutions at Scale

Explore how practical technologies can help deliver warmer, healthier, more affordable and lower-carbon homes through the Warm Homes Plan.
About this Event

This event will bring together landlords, retrofit professionals, technology innovators and wider industry stakeholders working to deliver housing decarbonisation projects.

From smarter heating and hot water to building data, energy efficiency and intelligent home technologies, the event will showcase proven solutions that can reduce emissions, lower residents’ bills and improve retrofit delivery. Technology founders will share their innovations and lessons learnt from real-world deployment, alongside wider discussions on the challenges, opportunities and collaboration needed to deliver the Warm Homes Plan at scale.

The morning will begin with breakfast and networking, followed by “Lessons from the Field” from Tania Jennings, Net Zero Carbon Manager at Lewisham Council. Tania will provide a local authority perspective on the practicalities of delivering retrofit programmes and some of the challenges that new technologies need to help overcome.

The main panel, moderated by Andy Cameron-Smith of the Healthy Homes Hub, will then bring together senior leaders from five innovative technology companies. The discussion will explore where technology can make the biggest difference to Warm Homes Plan delivery, how different solutions can work together, and how innovation can help tackle challenges around affordability, decarbonisation, deployment at scale and resident benefits.

An audience Q&A will provide an opportunity to put questions directly to the technology leaders, followed by networking with the panel, local authorities, delivery partners and others working across home energy and retrofit.
