🎪 Step Right Up to Delinger's First Summerpalooza! 🎉

Get ready to kick off summer under the big top with an unforgettable neighborhood celebration full of fun, food, music and festive energy for all ages. Delinger families and friends are invited to come together for a full day of activities, laughter, and community.

From the moment the festivities begin at noon, the street will come alive with excitement — starting with our new official kickoff, the Delinger Dash, followed by a full lineup of carnival-style activities and surprises throughout the day.

Suggested donation: $180 per family to help cover event costs such as decorations, lunch, street safety signs, live entertainment and miscellaneous activities. This cost will cover wristbands for your family + four additional wristbands for child-guests. Adult guests don't need wristbands.

🕒 Event Schedule Highlights:

• 12:00 PM –2:00 PM -Delinger Dash Kickoff, Lunch, Zone One Activities
• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM -Carnival games at Zone Two
• 4:00–7:00 PM – Live band, Food Trucks, Water Activity at Zone Two
• 7:00 PM – Wind down and close

💡 Additional Details:

• Suggested donation of $180/ family is due by May 1st, 2026
• Family volunteers will sponsor and host carnival games and activity stations throughout the event
• Our permit for street closure has been approved pending signatures from everyone on the street. We will be seeking signatures after spring break to create a safe, walkable event space.

Info: We thought it would be fun to kick off summer in true Delinger style with a brand new tradition — the Annual Delinger Dash!

All kiddos will line up at 12:00 PM at the “Delinger Point” sign and take off on a short, high-energy sprint to the over-the-street finish line at the speed bump in front of 3834 Delinger (quick, fun, and full of excitement).

But the real grand finale? Kids will burst through the finish line and straight into a tunnel of cheering parents armed with super soakers - because what’s summer without a little splash?

Info: Section One kicks things off in the front yard of 3834 Delinger !

This area will be packed with fun, including yard games, a small bounce house, a craft table, fairy hair, face painting, and a kid-friendly lunch. We’ll also have what's sure to be a crowd-pleaser, Dunk Your Dad (Dads- come bathing suit ready!), plus Pelican’s Snowballs (sponsored by the Webber fam).

And before we make our way to Zone Two, don’t miss the grand splash finale of this zone — a Foam Party Pit over at 3846 Delinger (sponsored by the Green fam). Bring your energy… and maybe a towel!

Info: Make your way down to the end of Delinger Drive at the turnaround for the rest of the evening’s festivities. This is where the fun really ramps up with our main event: Carnival Games!

You’ll find tables and tents filled with games, prizes, and nonstop excitement for the kiddos. We’ll also have Pop-A-Shot for a little friendly competition and a water activity to help everyone cool down and keep the good times going.

Info: We’ll wrap up the carnival and roll right into the grand finale- let the band start playing, the food trucks start serving, and the drinks start flowing. Sit back, dance, and let the night take you away!
