If you are an experienced raqs sharqi and/or fusion belly dancer, this is your chance to:✨Polish and learn more intermediate and advanced raqs sharqi technique
✨Learn and perform a group choreography
✨Have some accountability in your practice
✨Have a goal to work towards!
The Delft Raqs Sharqi Performance Project starts Saturday February 1 in Delft. It will culminate with a performance on Friday May 16 at our Spring Theater Show!
This is for you if:
✨You have a minimum of 12 months continuous raqs sharqi and/or fusion belly dance experience (Not sure if the level is right for you? Send me a message!)
✨You are ready to commit to practising and rehearsing in your own time outside of classes
✨You want to be challenged to grow in both your dance technique and your stage presence!
Spots are extremely limited. Registration will close on February 1 if not sold out prior. Find all the info in the description below, or send me an email!

Prior raqs sharqi or fusion belly dance experience is ESSENTIAL to join this project.
Class/workshop dates:
Included in the pricing is a group costume. I would need your measurements by February 1 for the costumes (registration will close on that date). The cost is 214,00 euro for the full course.
Class/workshop dates (TO BE CONFIRMED):
1. Saturday February 1 – 14:00-16:00 in Delft
2. Saturday March 1 –14:00-16:00 in Delft
3. Saturday April 5 -14:00-16:00 in Delft
4. Saturday May 3 – 14:00-16:00 in Delft
5. Friday May 16 – SHOW! Performance (in Rotterdam at Theater ‘t Kapelletje as part of Springtime Shimmy; We will have a 30 min run through together on this day). The performance will be photographed and filmed.
FAQs:
– Can I keep the costume? Yes! It will be yours
– Can I join if I can’t / don’t want to perform? Yes – but please make this known up front. The costs will still be the same due to my hours of work involved, the cost of costumes, and studio hire.
– What is the music? I am making final decisions regarding the song. You can check out my YouTube Channel to see the kinds of music I’ve used for groups in the past to get an idea if you like my taste.
