Buckle down for an unforgettable evening at the Best of the West 2025 Dinner and Awards Banquet, hosted by the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce and Laughlin Air Force Base, on March 14th at 6pm in the Del Rio Civic Center Pecan Ballroom. The evening will highlight the Del Rio Chamber and Laughlin AFB, with ALL nominees from various squadrons of the 47th Flying Training Wing eagerly anticipating the announcement of the award winners.We are proud to welcome Maj. Gen. Gregory Kreuder, Commander of the Nineteenth Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, as our special guest speaker. Maj. Gen. Kreuder was commissioned in 1995 as an Outstanding Graduate of Joint SUPT at Laughlin AFB and is a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School. With over 3,200 flying hours, including 350 combat hours, he has served as an evaluator, instructor pilot, and weapons officer. He has commanded at both the squadron and wing levels and held staff assignments at Headquarters U.S. Air Force.
