About this Event

It’s the 1930’s, and Hollywood is buzzing! Legendary director Max Reinhardt is filming his lavish movie adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, but the real drama begins when Oberon and Puck, a King and mischievous sprite, get magically transported to the Warner Bros. studio lot. Mistaken for Hollywood actors, they are instantly cast in Reinhardt’s film. What follows is an unforgettable, supernatural adventure, complete with magic flowers causing chaotic love triangles, and fairies colliding with the fast-paced realities of show business. Shakespeare in Hollywood is a hilarious delight. Don't miss our incredibly talented DeKalb High School cast and crew as they bring this Hollywood golden-age comedy to life on stage!
