Our Speaker is Tim Evans from PGE

Timothy Evans serves as Manager of the Supply Chain Responsibility Team, supporting the operations side of Supplier Diversity, Supplier Environmental Sustainability, Supplier Code of Conduct, and small business efforts within Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). Timothy joined PG&E in October of 2016, as a Program Manager for the Supply Chain Responsibility team supporting primarily Gas Operations and Shared Services. Timothy became Manager of the Supply Chain Responsibility team in 2024. He leads a team of four dedicated coworkers who ensure that regulatory policies, CPUC and Federal reporting, and internal processes and infrastructures are in place to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Working with many diverse suppliers, community-based organizations, supplier diversity professionals within California, and internal PG&E leadership, Timothy has gained tremendous acknowledge about Supplier Diversity over the past thirteen years, and the barriers diverse and small business suppliers face in an everchanging environment.

Timothy serves as President of the Industry Council for Small Business Development, (ICSBD), serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for the American Indian Chamber of Commerce – California Northern Chapter, and provides mentorship for the Elite Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Network organization.

Timothy Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree. Timothy is married and has two grown daughters. Timothy enjoys reading about successful diverse businesses.
