Join us for our inaugural drive at the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital! We will be at Nick's Theatre in the lobby on Tuesday, February 3rd from 10am - 2pm. Help us to continue to provide blood products for our youngest patients. When donating, remember to:
Provide a photo ID
Drink plenty of fluids and have a good meal before you donate
Be free of cold or flu symptoms for five days
Bring a list of the medications you take
Bring a list of the places and dates you have traveled outside the U.S. within the last three year
Whole blood donations take about 45 to 60 minutes.
All blood collected will be used to support patients at UI Health Care and Stead Family Children's Hospital
