Dinner. Door prizes. Drug education & MORE! Join us for this FREE event for parents/guardians and youth grades 6th-12th. The Coalition for Drug-Free Youth (CDFY) is collaborating with local organizations and agencies to bring prevention education and mindfulness to both youth and their guardians.
Parents/Guardians will learn about:
-Fentanyl, vaping, underage drinking, and other substances
-Stash containers inside a "mock bedroom"
-Creating an "exit plan" with their children on texting a safe word when in a dangerous situation
Youth (grades 6th-12th) will:
-Learn about substance prevention and positive coping skills
-Experience yoga/mindfulness
-Participate in a Longview Police Department and Longview Fire Department panel
