DEFENSIVE PISTOL - An advanced handgun training class

This is more than a concealed carry class conducted at a gun shop, gun show or by law enforcement agency.

This is a 10-hour advanced handgun / concealed carry training course. An official NRA certificate of advanced handgun training, recognized in all 50 states, will be issued upon successful completion.

This class includes 5 hours of live-fire range training on a private gun range. The student will be expected to fire a minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition learning how to correctly exercise all safe handgun handling practices. The student will learn and master the skill of drawing from a holster, both open and concealed, utilizing cover, moving between cover and concealment, loading, unloading, reloading and engaging single and multiple assailants.

This course teaches the actual handling, use, firing and storage of a handgun, while covering the regulations for the concealed carry of a firearm. In addition, in-depth instruction is provided on the purchasing considerations of a handgun for defensive purposes, as well as, the selection of ammunition and ammunition safety.

This course covers all the information and material necessary for applying for a concealed carry license recognized in 38 states. This course exceeds the State of Florida's training requirement for concealed carry license application.

This course is for the intermediate shooter. This is NOT a beginner class. All participants must have successfully completed either of our basic handgun training classes as a prerequisite. There will be no exceptions.

Refund Policy . . . This course is in high demand and fully books in advance. Sorry, there are no refunds for cancellations or your inability to attend a class. You are permitted to reschedule for another class. A $50 rescheduling fee will be imposed.

We have a real physical location. We do not conduct classes in rented hotel rooms. Ours is a roomy, comfortable, private classroom.

The live-fire range training wil take place on a climate controlled, indoor gun range.
