About this Event
This is the next class for many that completed our Intro class. We build on lessons learned and the student has the benefit of reinforcement of foundational skills with 4 hours of reps!
PLEASE NOTE: This class may be indoor weather depending. If so, synthetic jacket or plated ammo only is allowed indoors. We have synthetic jacket 9mm available for students.
We provide the student with basic skills and the mindset required to confidently operate a handgun in a violent situation. Defensive Carry 0.5 is geared toward the student that isn't ready for level 1 and needs additional instruction and practice. We start with a lively classroom session followed by active drills on the range. We ensure all students are safely drawing from the holster. Proper shot placement on the threat, introduction of fighting magazine reloads and tactical reload are covered. We shoot multiple targets practicing muzzle discipline and trigger reset. We develop & expand movement while shooting. Topics: Use of Force, Grip, Stance, Draw, Reset, and Shot Placement.
150 rounds required (Ammo is available at a discount to students. Please mention when registering)
Tuition $210 - includes range fee
