The Second Annual Defending Durham Community Fundraiser Gohon Kumite Tournament brings gaming, community, and giving together for an exciting event with a purpose. Building on the success of our inaugural tournament, this year’s event returns bigger and better, creating an even greater opportunity to make a difference. Through competitive gaming between the DPS Teachers vs the Durham Police in a live-streamed telethon, we will raise funds to support the Durham Public Schools Foundation, Durham Police Department, Preston’s League, and Donate Life NC. The event brings gamers, families, businesses, community leaders, and supporters together to celebrate Durham and invest in its future. Every donation helps strengthen programs that support children, families, and our community. Whether you compete, watch, volunteer, sponsor, or donate, you are helping create meaningful change.
