Madi’s House was founded by Julie and Steve Raleigh after their daughter, Madi, took her own life in 2019 at the age of 24. Madi’s House provides a safe, stigma-free space where young adults facing mental health and substance use challenges can heal and
connect. All Madi’s House programs are completely free, giving members the opportunity to fill their time, find their people, and feel hope.
We are SUPER excited to let you know that our very special guest speaker at this month's Deer Park Block Watch Meeting will be Julie Raleigh herself. She will share her own personal story as well as give you some insights into others' stories that have been touched through the various programs available at Madi's House.
Also, in attendance at this meeting will be Cincinnati's own "BENGAL JIM". Bengal Jim has raised money over the years at his tailgating events for numerous charities, including Madi's House. The Bicycle Playing Card Company has donated decks of "Bengal Jim & Friends" playing cards that will be sold at the meeting for only $10 per pack. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help Madi's House! These will be sold CASH ONLY...you might even be able to get them autographed by Bengal Jim himself!
Our meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Deer Park Community Center located at 7640 Plainfield Road.
Mental health issues are very real and affect ALL of us...young and old alike. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this event! Come early to get a seat!
