Description:
Deep Tissue is a type of massage that every client can benefit from. It’s based on the philosophy “meet your client where they are at”. This hands on class focuses on the entire body, and will combine the subtle art of listening combined with dynamic fluid movements that release fascia and break up muscle adhesions.
What you will learn in this course:
How fascia is related to dysfunction in your clients including pain, reduced circulation, reduced range of motion, and inflammation.
Soft tissue strategies and rehabilitation techniques for injuries and pain patterns frequently encountered in a massage practice
A greater understanding of the biomechanics of human movement
How to teach your client self-awareness skills and exercises which will lead to longer results
Specific attention to improving body mechanics will be addressed by incorporating movement exercises and body awareness skills.
Your instructor: Christopher Cintron
