Join us for this very special meditation and sound journey for stress release and deep rest... *Please note: An RSVP to this Facebook event will not secure your spot! Please register and get your ticket at: https://forms.gle/K84KF78SoNDC26tK8After a brief introduction and guided meditation, Phoenyx will offer an intense ~50-minute sound immersion with her two powerful gongs and gentle Koshi chimes. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to journal and/or share reflections with the group.
Unlike other sound healing events, this immersion will involve loud, intense, and powerful gong-playing, at times, to clear stuck energy and allow for emotional release. Gongs create a unique, deeply-moving experience that can drop listeners into spontaneous meditative states (theta) where we have access to creative thinking and deep relaxation and tension release. They also help to clear energetic blocks and re-attune to higher vibrations. Gongs can also bring up big emotions, which can sometimes feel activating and create feelings of anxiety and overwhelm. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to allow for these feelings to come up and to release. Earplugs will be provided for anyone who might be sensitive to the sound.

Phoenyx Bio:
Founder and Soundscape Navigator at "For the Love of Gong," Phoenyx is a Portland-based sound healer, event-organizer, writer, speaker, consultant, and gong-lover — passionately inspired by expanded states of consciousness, alchemy, healthy empowerment, harmonious dynamics, mind-hacking, trauma-healing, natural wellness, and community-building. She completed the Advanced Gong Sound Healing Certification Training through the International Gong Yoga Association in July 2022, under Gong Master Yogi Mehtab Benton, and has two magnificent gongs: a 32" traditional bronze Chinese Chau gong; and a 24" Paiste Brilliant Symphonic gong, made of silver, nickel, and bronze. She is the founder of Phoenyx Enterprising; event organizer for Happier Portland, Authentic Portland, Relationship Anarchy Portland, and LoveHub Meetup groups; and author of "Liberating Love," an in-progress book exploring the art, science, philosophy, and practice of sovereign relating (inclusive self-care that fosters conscious, authentic, empowered, and healing relationships). A perpetual student, Phoenyx is always exploring further education to learn how to share the gongs in more therapeutic ways.
