, we inspire deeper connection to ourselves, each other, and the Earth through song. We believe in the healing, freedom, and joy that can come through communal singing, and aim to make that experience more widely accessible.

About this Circle: This workshop is designed for singers, vocal facilitators, educators, and participants in Circle Singing and group vocal practices who experience difficulty when stepping into visibility — especially when moving into the center, soloing, or leading the group.

Many people feel a strong call to participate more fully, yet in moments of exposure they experience blocking, freezing, shame, excessive self-awareness, or fear of judgment. Others step forward but do so with tension, losing access to playfulness, creativity, or confidence.

Rather than framing these experiences as personal limitations, this workshop approaches them through the lens of the nervous system.

Using simple somatic and vocal practices grounded in neuroscience, participants learn to:

  • Recognize how their nervous system responds to exposure and visibility.
  • Differentiate between states of threat, shutdown, and safety
  • Develop practical tools to regulate activation before and during moments of soloing or leading

Through singing, movement, orientation, and guided attention, we explore how biological safety can be communicated to the body in real time. When safety is present, the system can support curiosity, creativity, and connection instead of protection.

Participants leave with embodied resources to:

  • Step into the center with more ease and self-trust
  • Sustain presence while being seen and heard
  • Build confidence without forcing or pushing
  • Experience exposure as possibility rather than threat

This workshop supports singers in reclaiming their place in the circle — not by overcoming fear, but by learning how to work with the nervous system that shapes the experience of exposure.

About the Facilitator: Maca Robledo is an argentine singer, recording artist, vocal educator, and nervous system practitioner specializing in the relationship between vocal function, nervous system regulation, and performance. A direct disciple of Prof. Rabine in Germany, founder of Functional Voice Education, she is trained in the Rabine Method®, Somatic Experiencing®, and neurophysiological regulation approaches.

Her work integrates somatic practice and neuroscience to support physiological readiness for singing, exploring how stress and performance pressure can limit vocal availability even in highly trained singers. As an artist, she has released six albums and toured internationally across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. She offers workshops and seminars worldwide, including in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and Spain, and is the creator of online training programs attended by over one thousand singers.
