Deep Creek Eco-buggy

The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to hop on the newly renovated eco-buggy with Environmental Specialist Tommy Nordmann and explore Deep Creek Preserve. We’ll discuss the agricultural history of the property, methods of management and restoration of the native ecosystems, and native plants and animals that reside there.

** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: The tour will take place on a hay-ride style, covered trailer with benches. There will be some easy, short walks as well.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.

AGES: All ages are welcome.

ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors

WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray

FACILITIES: There is a port-a-let but no running water on site.
