Location: Ida RuppChildren ages 3-12 may join us for a duck decorating extravaganza! Come embellish a rubber duck to enter into our children's Decorate a Rubber Duck Competition! Ducks and decorative embellishments will be provided, while supplies last. One duck per child. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required.
If your child takes their duck home to add any finishing touches, please return it to the library by October 24 in order to be entered into the competition.
Can't make it to this event but want to participate in the competition? Children may pick up a duck to take home and decorate; ducks will be available at the circulation desk from Tuesday, October 14 - Saturday, October 18, while supplies last. Children must be present to pick up a duck.
Voting will take place in the children's area from October 27-30. All ages may vote.
The winner from each age category (ages 3-8 and ages 9-12) will be announced on October 31 and will be notified of their prize.
