Decorate a Paddle

Join Queer Munch at the Spice Cabinet in Wallingford for a spicy, sexy craft night! We'll be decorating our own paddles. There will be two styles of wooden paddle to pick from, along with paint and glue-on decorations.

Please note that these paddles are meant to be decorative only (using a paddle with stuff glued on can be a risk).

You are also welcome to bring any creative items you'd like to add to your paddle! (Please no glitter - it's very messy).

This event will be held at The Spice Cabinet, 71 N Turnpike Rd UNIT 4, Wallingford, CT. Tickets are sliding scale. Please pay what you can - the cost helps us pay the venue and instructor, and cover materials.

Accessibility:

The shop is accessible - there is a sidewalk cut and the venue is all one level.

Parking: Free in lot.

Public transit: the 292 stops a block away.

Masks: Optional, N95's provided

Gender neutral bathroom: There is a gender neutral single-stall bathroom.

Quiet space available: You can step outside - it's along a main road but the shop is tucked away from the parking lot.

This is a sex-positive but nonsexual space. Sexual harassment, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and other bigotries will not be tolerated; individuals who choose to engage in these behaviors will be asked to leave with no refund.
