Event Description
Prof. Annina Schmid: Decoding the Complexity of Entrapment Neuropathies
Join Prof. Annina Schmid as she delves deep into the intricate world of peripheral entrapment neuropathies, such as spine-related leg pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. In this compelling session, she’ll uncover the common symptoms patients face and assess the effectiveness of current first-line treatments, highlighting why non-surgical approaches often fall short.
Prof. Schmid will shine a light on a critical barrier in treatment: the gap in understanding disease mechanisms and the challenges of inadequate patient stratification. With a focus on her latest cutting-edge research, she’ll explore new pathways to better understand the underlying pathophysiology and discuss how these insights could pave the way for precision physiotherapy. Her ultimate goal? To transform patient care by developing more targeted and effective interventions that improve outcomes for those suffering from these complex conditions.
*Don’t miss this opportunity to gain key insights into the future of entrapment neuropathy management!*
