Decoding Solar Design: A Guide for Architects

Brooklyn SolarWorks will unpack the complexities of integrating solar systems into a range of New York City projects. You will earn a basic understanding of solar system design and installation as well as the importance of integrating solar solutions at design inception to maximize solar capacity without adverse impacts on other aspects of a design.

The presentation will also explore a range of installation types including canopy solutions that maximize system size and energy production. Local laws and regulations surrounding solar installations will also be discussed, including laws mandating solar integration and the economic incentives available to maximize economic benefits.
