It all began with a young merchant of Shiraz in Persia named Siyyid `Alí-Muhammad Shírází. He later became known as the Báb (“the Gate”), because on the evening of May 23, 1844, He declared His mission. This was the opening act of the spiritual drama that would lead to the revelation of Bahá'u'lláh and the Bahá’í Faith. Remarkably, that same night, Bahá'u'lláh's son -- `Abdu'l‑Bahá, the “Servant of Bahá” -- was born in Tehran.What: Observance of the Declaration of the Báb

At 10:30am we will be livestreaming the second concert performed during this year’s Bahá’í Choral Festival from the Bahá’í House of Worship. The choir—composed of more than 150 local and international choristers—will be performing
a program of devotional choral pieces and sacred writings.
