This month's meeting will be held at Earth Coffeehouse & Cafe on Saturday, December 7th from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.
If you care to participate, we'll be doing a "Yankee" book swap! Bring a wrapped new or gently used book that you love and think everyone should read or a book you loved reading in 2024. The book does not have to be holiday-themed. Just something you're loving this year.
For those unfamiliar to Yankee swap, we'll draw numbers and then the person who drew the number 1 will unwrap a book. The next person can either steal that book or unwrap a different book. And so on. Books can be stolen no more than three times before they're "locked in." The first person to draw will also go last. If you unwrap a book you already have read, put it back and go again. Honor system! Am I forgetting anything? Probably!
As far as reading, as always, whether it's a physical book or e-book, fiction or non-fiction, heady literary stuff or a graphic novel, bring it to this meet-up and read alongside fellow introverts and book lovers. No pressure, no homework, no judgments.
