It’s that time of year again when Joe takes a deep dive into his obscure 1940’s Christmas film vault. We all know about the Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, or White Christmas.Did y’all know John Wayne starred in a Christmas Western in 1948? Nothing says Merry Christmas like The Duke packing his lead slinger, and riding across a sun-baked landscape with a less than savory band of desperados.
