Stressed about money? Burned out? Feeling isolated? Wish there were more sober events in San Diego?
Well San Diego's newest art nonprofit has your back! Healing Through Artplay provides abstract painting workshops at no cost to you. Join in a criticism-free environment, meet new people, gain a sense of belonging, have a chance to get off technology, play with paint, destress, and leave with a fun new painting.
We will all meet at the venue called ArtReach in Hillcrest San Diego, starting at 6:30pm on Friday, December 11th. At 6:30pm sharp, I will start by welcoming everyone and talking about the nonprofit. Then I will guide you through a stress-free tutorial on ways to get playful with the paint. You'll then have an hour to be creative and colorful on your canvas using unconventional painting tools. After that we'll all help clean up and you'll put your painting in a gift box to get it home safely.
All of the painting supplies, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks are provided at no cost to you.
Healing Through Artplay only provides alcohol-free and drug-free events. You will need to arrive sober, or you will be asked to come to another event when you are fully present of mind.
Tickets are only available here on Eventbrite, and you must have a ticket to get in!

We have limited seating. If people cancel and leave seats empty that could have been filled by others waiting to join a workshop, it prevents us from fulfilling our mission
By reserving a ticket, you agree that you will notify Healing Through Artplay at least 3 days in advance of the event of any ticket cancellations. If you don't notify us in time, you will be unable to reserve tickets again for 6 months. Thank you for respecting each other.
