Our December meeting will see the return of our popular wreath making. We don't pretend to be expert florists but we'll help you to make your own decoration for your door or table.
Please bring your own wreath base (you can buy one, but a potato or a home-made ring made from wire/a coat-hanger/twigs/ivy would do), plus any greenery you have to share. We'll have wire, secateurs and trimmings but feel free to bring extra.
If you don't fancy making a wreath, or have time left after making yours, we'll also be making decorations using everyday materials. We'll have supplies and tools but there are a few extra things you could bring along to help us.
We'll be making:
* Bobble hats made from loo roll inners and yarn. Extra yarn (DK or Aran weight works best) in festive colours would be very welcome.

* Embossed decorations made from tomato puree tubes or similar. We'll have some designs you can use. Bring something to make an impression e.g. a pen that's run out or a knitting needle, and your own design ideas.

* Gingerbread houses made from cardboard. Extra cutting mats (or chopping boards) would be welcome.

Plus there'll be a raffle with great prizes, blind tastings of seasonal foods, and festive nibbles and hot chocolate alongside our usual tea and coffee.
And finally we are continuing our toiletries collection for Anawim so would welcome any contributions you can bring along, thank you!
Please help our volunteers spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the meeting by bringing your own cup or mug and maybe a plate (we will provide serviettes as an alternative). Thank you and we hope to see you on Sunday 14th!
We welcome women visitors to this session (£8 fee on the door - cash or card).
