We will be placing a white bike at the site of a crash that occurred recently. Please gather for your cycling community and for cyclist safety. This is an event to remind our cities that we have a long way to go for safe infrastructure.
This isn’t about finding someone to blame. This is about moving forward and advocating for a better quality of life for vulnerable road users.
September 18, 2024: A local cyclist from Walland, TN was cycling in Townsend, TN with her husband when she was struck by a vehicle. She taken to U.T. Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on September 26, 2024.
