About the Author

Deborah Goodrich Royce is the author of several acclaimed novels, including Reef Road, a national bestseller named one of the best books of 2023 by Kirkus Reviews and an Indie Next pick. Her novels Ruby Falls and Finding Mrs. Ford have earned widespread praise, with Ruby Falls winning the Zibby Award for Best Plot Twist.

In addition to her writing, Deborah curates the Ocean House Author Series, bringing celebrated authors to Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and co-founded the Deer Mountain Writers’ Retreat in the Catskills. She also writes a regular book column and previously worked in film and television as an actress and story editor at Miramax Films. Deborah and her husband, Chuck, are deeply involved in arts and Main Street revitalization projects in Rhode Island and the Catskills.
