In perioada 5 -13 septembrie va avea loc la Cluj, la galeria Annie Klaus, Piata Unirii nr.10, expozitia "Moartea pe piele", un tribut adus traditiilor, culturii mexicane si spiritului uman nemuritor. Expoziția va avea intrare liberă pe toată durata acesteia.
Vernisajul expoziției va avea loc luni, 7 septembrie 2026, Cluj-Napoca,de la ora 19.00, în prezența prof.univ.dr. Dorel Gaina, cel care va și vernisa acest minunat eveniment.

DEATH ON SKIN
Death is essence. Essence that lives, thatbeats. It is a stigma of what vibrates. Thesign of the quantum traveler that crossesmirrors towards the unknown. The key toall enigmas.
Death is a projection of being, an infiniteextension of life that expandsconsciousness to the divine and gives real meaning to matter and the ephemeral.
Death is the spearhead that departs thestellar night and blesses the hand of themystical warrior, making his destiny a living word that fills the void of silence.
Death is origin and destiny. He is master of time and existence. Voice of darkness and song of the occult. The sentence is: Thereis no angel without wings like there is no man without a skeleton.

LA MUERTE EN LA PIEL
La muerte es esencia. Esencia que vive, que late. Es estigma de lo que vibra. El signo del viajero cuántico que va cruzando espejos hacia lo desconocido. La llave de todos los enigmas.
La muerte es proyección del ser, extensión infinita de la vida que expande la consciencia a lo divino y da sentido real a la materia y a lo efímero.
La muerte es la punta de lanza que parte la noche estelar y bendice la mano del guerrero místico haciendo su destino palabra viva que llena el vacío del silencio.

Biography:
Mauricio Silerio was born in 1979 in Queretaro, Mexico.
He held several courses of painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
He works with ethereal concepts out of reality where he finds an infinite of possibilities where everything isprobable and the lifetime depends of the real existenceconcept of the artist. The energy inside his artworkstransform the smoke in a heartbeat of life.
He uses techniques like painting, drawing, engraving, sculpture, photography, photo-manipulation and digital art.
Mauricio Silerio performed 106 solo exhibitions in Mexico, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Cuba, Costa Rica, Greece, Argel, South Africa, Moroco, Iran, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, China, Canada, Netherlands, Guatemala, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Trinidad & Tobago and USA.

The photographic series titled "Death on Skin" consists of casual photographs taken at events inspired by the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead, such as parades, festivals, dances, ceremonies, crafts, and more.
The Day of the Dead is a deeply traditional celebration resulting from the cultural and religious syncretism that has occurred in Mexico, with very distinctive elements of this tradition, such as altars, bread of the dead, candies, and crafts with skull figures. People often dress up as a traditional character called "La Catrina," originating in the works of the printmaker José Guadalupe Posadas and revived by the painter Diego Rivera. It is a satire of a wealthy woman replaced by an anthropomorphized skull.
