A profoundly creative rock n' roll odyssey. Röckët Stähr's Death Of A Rockstar is a one-of-a-kind experience that will please anyone who craves something outside of the box.

This animated rock opera, created and performed almost entirely by one man, Röckët Stähr, over 13-years, (8 of which he spent animating it entirely on his own with no previous animation experience), can best be described as "Yellow Submarine" meets "Rocky Horror Picture Show" meets "Tommy" meets "Jesus Christ Superstar”. The end result is a fun, colorful, subversive love letter to classic rock 'n' roll and 20th-century American pop culture.

In the year 2164, when rock n roll is banned, a group of underground rebels, lead by a mad scientist, attempt to start a non-violent revolution by waking up the docile masses via a cloned rockstar sent on a guerrilla tour to "rock n roll them free from the tyranny". But they soon find out, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
