Death and Transfiguration is an intimate summer recital exploring music that confronts mortality, transformation, and renewal. Through a thoughtfully curated program of art song and opera arias, mezzo-soprano Maureen Mihalik traces an emotional journey from unrequited love and uncertainty toward the fulfillment of love and transcendence.

With themes of loss, hope, identity, and rebirth, Death and Transfiguration offers an afternoon of powerful storytelling through voice, celebrating opera's ability to illuminate both our deepest struggles and our greatest capacity for transformation.
