About this Event
Join us for this monthly gathering as a space to come together with others to reflect on grief, loss, and mortality. Across cultures throughout history, grief has often been held in community rather than isolation.
Alongside open conversation, art materials will be offered as a means of expression to explore feelings that may be difficult to put into words. This is a donation space for communal reflection, creativity, and connection. No art experience needed, only a willingness to sit with what is present.
About Maela
Maela is a Jungian Art Psychotherapist (HCPC-registered) and visionary artist. She has a lifelong practice of using art for self-discovery and holds a special interest in transpersonal art therapy and spiritual care. She has experience working across CAMHS, end-of-life and bereavement services, wellness retreats, and diverse community settings. Her work is shaped by her own lived experience of death and bereavement, which deeply informs the way she holds space for grief.
Her practice is heart-led, weaving Jungian depth psychology, indigenous wisdom, and her Sufi cross-cultural background. She holds space for art as a pathway to healing, transformation, and alchemy.
