(NL)De vierde editie van het stadsfestival Dear Antwerp klinkt als muziek in de oren. Lokale kunstenaars met verschillende achtergronden brengen de rijke verhalen van de stad tot leven. Centraal in het festival staat deze keer INNER LIFE, Wim Henderickx’ laatste werk, opgevat als een artistieke happening door het hele gebouw van DE SINGEL. Voor de uitvoering werden kosten noch moeite gespaard. Een bont gezelschap bundelt de krachten, van lokale ensembles en koren tot basketballers en lokale fanfares. Staat ook op de affiche: Amatorski! Deze band is terug van weggeweest en zoekt met een exclusief concert de grenzen op tussen muziek en beeldende kunst. Gezinnen ook welkom: Makurah nodigt de allerkleinste luisteraars uit om haar wereld binnen te dansen. (ENG)The fourth edition of the Dear Antwerp city festival is music to our ears. Local artists from different backgrounds bring the city’s rich stories to life. Central to the festival this time is INNER LIFE, Wim Henderickx's final work, conceived as an artistic happening throughout the DE SINGEL building. For the performance, we’ve pulled out all the stops and no expense has been spared. A colourful group joins forces, from local ensembles and choirs to basketball players and local brass bands. Also on the programme: Amatorski! This band is back again and will be seeking out the boundaries between music and visual art with an exclusive concert. Families are also welcome: Makurah invites the very smallest listeners to dance into her world. Finally, the doors of Somalia Williamson's artistic playground are also wide open with our partner Rataplan.
