Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness Walk 2025The DHH Awareness Walk 2025 is a free, family-friendly community event celebrating Deaf Awareness Month and honoring families of children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Hosted by Texas Hands & Voices—a parent-led nonprofit that provides unbiased support, resources, and advocacy—the event will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM at Edinburg Municipal Park (714 S. Raul Longoria Rd., Edinburg, TX).
Activities will include a 1-mile awareness walk, resource booths, and family activities, all open to the public. Communication accommodations are available upon request at least 10 days in advance by contacting Paulina Peña at [email protected].
