About this Event

When award winning chuckwagon chefs meet award winning entertainment, you know you've come to the right party. So get yourself a seat at the table, and help us celebrate Deadwood's 150th birthday in style - cowboy style, that is.

Here's how it works:

Purchase a commemorative Deadwood 150th anniversary plate* and receive a complimentary chuckwagon meal prepared by the best of the best!

Enjoy the sounds of live cowboy music and poetry while you chow down in the heart of historic Deadwood!

Visit and interact with Deadwood Alive, Deadwood's own historical re-enactment and entertainment troupe!

Space is limited! Purchase your commemorative plate and reserve your spot at the table today! Plates will be available to pick up at the door.

We are thrilled that the award winning duo of Paul Larson, cowboy musician, and Ken Cook, cowboy poet will be there to entertain the crowd during the shindig.

Enjoy authentic re-enactments of Deadwood's rough and tumble past with an appearance by Deadwood Alive.

Homestake Trail Volksmarch begins at 9 a.m.

The Volksmarch features a scenic 3.5-mile hike along the Homestake Trail, a favorite route among local residents. Participants will begin at the Lead Dog Park/Homestake Trailhead in Lead and finish at the Mickelson Trailhead in Deadwood. Crafts at the Cut Beer Festival begins at 3 p.m.

Make your way back to Lead at 3:00 p.m. for the Crafts at the Cut Beer Festival, part of the annual Fall in Love with Lead celebration.
