As the veil between the living and the dead thins, the ghosts of Portsmouth's historic downtown come out to share their spectral stories...Step back in time with our time traveling guides as we uncover local lore and paranormal presences dating back to the city's founding in 1623!
Our Historic Haunts tour visits some of Downtown Portsmouth's most notable landmarks and buildings, peering into the paranormal shadows that are often passed over in the light of day. Learn about the architecture, historic events, and the eternal residents that have made our city a welcoming port for visitors and locals alike!
Details:
-Passage is $21 per person
-Recommended for Ages 17+. Mortals under 17 must have adult supervision.
-Meets and ends at Deadwick's Ethereal Emporium (19 Sheafe Street, Portsmouth, NH)
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in. Guests have the opportunity to peruse and make purchases prior to their tour and retrieve them at the end. We will reopen briefly at the end for any final purchases.
Please note that Deadwick's does NOT have a restroom available, and plan ahead.
Tours are primarily outdoors, rain or starry skies. In the event of severe weather, tours may be cancelled and tickets refunded. Appropriate outerwear and comfortable footwear is highly suggested.
