Once known as Dead Street after the Black Death wiped out the entire population in 1349 this location later became a bustling Victorian school. The surviving 1837 Monitorial Classroom and the headmaster’s house have witnessed generations of life learning… and loss.

Over the years countless visitors have reported ghostly apparitions disembodied voices footsteps in empty corridors sudden cold spots and objects that move on their own. From phantom children gasping around the desks to shadowy figures in the headmaster’s house this is a site where history lingers.
