Join independent publishers The Nottingham Horror Collective at Waterstones Nottingham to celebrate the launch of Dead Pretty: Beauty in the Horror Genre.

Personal, political and punk-spirited, Dead Pretty is an illustrated collection of 25 essays digging into beauty, ageing, bodies, identity, vanity, power and the gaze across horror media.

For the launch, editor Emily Malone will be joining us with 3 of their contributing writers for a panel discussion about the book, the ideas behind it and the strange relationship between horror and beauty.

The event will be followed by a book signing.
