This course gives real estate professionals a clear understanding of how property is transferred when the owner of record has died. Students will learn the basics of Texas intestate succession, community and separate property issues, common types of probate, and key estate administration concepts.

The course also covers real-world complications such as Medicaid Estate Recovery,claims against heirs, and handling transactions when minors or contested heirs are involved.
