We are opening at the Dead Or Alive Presents night at the Hope & Anchor on Saturday 4th January! We will play a 30 minute set starting at 7:45pm promptly. Next on are Insect Trainers who are a "gamelan-inflected dream folk duo". Then its Bliss Routine, who are a fuzzy gazey alt-rock band. The penultimate band is Kim Quasi, who are a 3 piece alternative rock band. Mofish are a three-piece band full of anger, other pretty things and will round off the night.
Boycey are a four-piece semi-acoustic band who play a mix of original up-tempo originals and mid-paced ballads. Moykal O'Bui is the songwriter and front man, playing acoustic guitar and singing. Pat Rowles plays bass and sings backing vocals. Mark Thorne plays keyboards and sings backing vocals. Tim Campbell plays cajon and assorted percussion. They released their debut album "Life Leaks A Hole" in 2010. They have followed this with EP and single releases in the meantime, including their current double A side single " Connemare/Bygones". This is our first gig of the year, so we plan to kick it off in style!
