Dead Fairy Workshop

Step into the wonderfully weird side of fairyland in our Dead Fairy Workshop.

You’ll start with a tiny 6" plastic skeleton and transform it into your own eerie little fairy specimen using a fun faux-corpsing technique, layers of black and brown paint, butterfly wings, moss, and creepy little finishing details.

We’ll show you how to give your skeleton that wonderfully aged, weathered “found in an old curiosity cabinet” look, then you’ll pose your fairy however you like—cross-legged, lounging, sitting upright, or looking like it has been waiting quietly in the woods for several centuries.

Once your fairy has taken shape, add wings, texture, moss, and personality to make it completely your own.

Most people are able to complete two Dead Fairies during the class period, so you may just leave with your own tiny collection of eerie winged specimens.

No two dead fairies ever turn out alike, which is exactly the fun of it.

All supplies are included. Just bring your sense of humor, your love of strange little things, and your willingness to make something delightfully creepy.
