Dead Eggs is an Asheville, NC–based punk trio delivering raw, no-frills energy with a sharp sense of fun. Featuring Joe Hooten (Tin Roof Echo / PINKEYE) on guitar and vocals, Chad Nance ( Father is Lost / PINKEYE / Rhine Jive Clique/ John Kirby Jr & New Seniors ) on bass and vocals, and Joel Suttles (Mercyland) on drums, the band leans into a seasoned, DIY approach that values feel over polish.
Drawing from the wiry urgency of Minutemen, the noise and edge of Sonic Youth, and the grit and hooks of ’90s alternative rock, Dead Eggs channels explosive energy into tight, hook-driven songs that hit hard without taking themselves too seriously—loud, scrappy, and built by lifers who know exactly what they’re doing.
