Get a chance to train the same way mounted police horses and riders train with Bill Richey, National Mounted Police Instructor. The objective of the clinic is to build confidence with your horse and yourself as a rider. Over the 3 days, participants will gain an understanding of equine vision and psychology, giving you the tools to help manage the obstacles you will be exposed to. Some of the obstacles may be but not limited to lights, sirens, smoke, flares, fireworks, bridges, curtains, and more. Bill Richey is the founder and director of National Mounted Police Services, Inc. National Mounted Police Services Inc. is a POST certified mounted police instructor course. Bill Richey was instrumental in creating the mounted units for multiple cities throughout the United States and the world training their officers and horses.
Cost: $400 to participate for 3 days
50% down due at registration to secure your spot.
Payment accepted in check, money order or electronic payment. Make checks payable to “Friends of York County Regional Mounted Police”. Remaining balance due March 1st 2025. (Failure to pay in full by 3/1/2025 will result in automatic withdrawal from the clinic and NO Refund). $30 to audit per day or $80 for all 3 days. *Negative coggins required*

Stalling: $35/night includes bedding, buckets, and mucking. Owner is responsible for hay/grain and care of own horses.
RV/Trailer hook-ups: $20/night
