Seqynth (nl)Seqynth is Gijs Bouman, a die-hard fan of early analog synthesizers: who
remembers that the legendary Korg MS 10 & MS 20 and the accompanying sequencer
SQ 10 were for sale in the window of the music store Kiekens on Smedestraat in
Haarlem in the late 1970s for a lot of money, out of reach for me at the time.
And so I was forced to limit myself to listening to those synths, which could be heard
at the time with Tangerine Dream, Isao Tomita, Kraftwerk, and last but not least: Klaus Schulze, the
pioneer in electronic music, particularly in the Berlin School style, and therefore my great hero in
this genre.
When electronic music became 'allowed' again in the 1980s and 1990s, I was able to
after saving up a bit to acquire the synths of the time. Over the years,
more and more synths were added, both analog and digital. And so my collection grew. And
eventually, that resulted in Seqynth.
Seqynth is electronic sounds, soundscapes, and sequences, which always turn out differently live
because synthesizers allow for enjoyable experimentation.
I see my first performance as an experiment and am also curious to see how it will work and be experienced live.
Hassan K. vs Edi Pou (fr-ire / sp)
Hassan K. vs Edi Pou is the explosive encounter between two practitioners of the extreme. On one side of the ring, Franco-Iranian Hassan K. mixes surf, black metal, and gabber. On the same side, Edi Pou (49% of ZA! and Los Sara Fontan) brings mathematics, surprise, and flavor. On the other side of the ring: the conventional, the commercial, the predictable, the cool, and the TikTok-able, ready to be demolished by drum beats, snare hits, microtonal guitars, and a Wii remote.

Mathieu Sylvestre (Berlin)
Autodidact musician based in Berlin, Germany since 2010, he came from France to Noise Music after 10
years as vocalist and guitarist in rock music field.
With guitars, cello, effect pedals and contact microphones, he first experimented on sounds and noises to
work on origin of vibrations by straight analog means.
After guitar noise experiments he developed sound pieces from field recordings and Moog analog
synthesizers sound sources.
After hundreds of shows since 2010 in Europe and worldwide this work is constantly enriched by different
contexts and places. Mathieu Sylvestre performed in several performance festivals and art events, in art galleries
as music performer or as performance artist.
The live electronic sound performances based on improvised patterns have been evolving show
after show and highlight boundaries between analog sound textures and the core of electronic vibrations that
focuses on bringing noise music a plastic and physical approach.
On the other hand, Mathieu Sylvestre composed sound tracks for visual artists as Wolfgang Petrick or
Saskia Edens (CH) and work to provide sound design on live shows in collaboration with Performance artists as
Frédéric Krauke (D), NoMass -contemporary dance- (GR), Physical Poets -Butoh- (JP), Non Grata (Est) Diverse
Universe Tours from 2012 to 2019 and music/sound design of the art film Symbiosis (Dir.S.Weber - 2024)
He was assistant of visual artist Till Velten between 2015 and 2019 in Basel (CH)
Several collaborating side projects are on the track since 2018 in Berlin with Sonus Eorum (Drone/Noise)
Reichenhall (Ambient Noise) and Switzerland with UncoppenSaw (Spoken world Tribal Noise)
Since 2024 Mathieu Sylvestre music is edited on New York City based label ALREALON.
