Sophie Shao returns to Danbury with guest artists Carmit Zori (violin), Rebecca Young (viola), Max Zeugner (bass), and Amy I-lin Cheng (piano) to perform Elena Ruehr's Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 2, Charles Ives' Piano Trio (to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding), and Schubert's joyously lyrical Quintet for Piano and Strings (the “Trout”).
