DC Writers' Salon: Agent & Author Q&A with Michele Evans

If you're a writer navigating the often arduous experience of publishing, this event is for you. The DC Writer's Salon A&A Q&A (Agent & Author Question & Answer) series provides writers with opportunities to hear from experienced folks on different facets of the publishing world.

This fall we're featuring Michele Evans, the author of februaries (Yellow Arrow Publishing, 2026) and purl (Finishing Line Press, 2025). This fifth-generation Washingtonian (D.C.) currently teaches English and Creative Writing and serves as the adviser for Unbound, a nationally recognized high school literary magazine. Her writing has been published in Artemis Journal, Bellevue Literary Review, Gargoyle Magazine, and elsewhere. She lives online at www.awordsmithie.com.

We'll start with snacks and refreshments, our guest speaker will give a 30 minute talk, then we'll follow that with a Q&A discussion and mingling.
