For Durham College (DC) students, Skills Ontario represents more than a competition—it’s an opportunity to showcase their talent, dedication, and craftsmanship across multiple skilled trades

This fundraiser directly supports Durham College students competing at Skills Ontario. Funds raised will help cover essential costs such as:

• Competition registration
• Training materials
• Travel and accommodations

Your support helps students focus on what matters most—building confidence, refining their skills, and representing Durham College with pride.

Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Durham College’s Whitby Campus for the DC Skilled Trades Showcase, proudly hosted by Durham College’s Event Planning students as part of their experiential learning. Featuring Durham College’s highly respected trades programs, this showcase plays a vital role in helping students continue to develop their skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence.

The event will take place during the Durham College Open House, serving as an exciting additional attraction for visitors

Attendees can enjoy:

• Sponsor activation booths
• Direct engagement with students entering the trades industry
• Student-made goods for sale, including food, baked items, and custom wood projects like charcuterie boards

This creates a vibrant, interactive experience for guests while highlighting the talent of Durham College trade students.
