DC Movie Club Presents: BYO Movie Vinyl Listening Party at Kuro

Join DC Movie Club and Lower Georgia Avenue Main Street at Kuro Listening Bar for a unique event for movie, music, and cocktail lovers alike!

Analog lovers -- this is your chance to show off your killer music/movie taste and bring your own movie related vinyls [think: soundtracks, scores, and/or sound effects ]. For those of you who don't have vinyl to bring, just come enjoy the groovy tunes, Japanese-inspired cocktails, good company, and air conditioning!

Kuro Listening Bar is centered around a pair of vintage JBL 4435 monitors and invites guests to hear music the way it was intended—rich, detailed, and immersive.

Each ticket includes a craft cocktail and benefits District Bridges' Lower Georgia Ave Main Street a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides support to small businesses and brings community together along the Lower Georgia Avenue business corridor. Follow us on Instagram!

A: Your ticket includes 1 craft-cocktail at Kuro! Drinks range in price from $16-20. Just show your ticket to the bartender to receive your Kuro cocktail.

A: DC Movie Club is an inclusive, diverse, and (mostly) unpretentious community of movie lovers who gather for a variety of events each month around the District including movie screenings, happy hours, small-group discussions, trivia, and more! DC Movie Club is for anyone who loves movies, whether you're a Criterion Channel subscriber or just enjoy a casual movie night with friends. Q: I can't come right at 4, can I show up late?
A: Yes! Feel free to arrive anytime after 4PM and before 10:30PM (closing)! Come for a drink, stay for dinner, catch up with friends!

Q: Will there be tickets available at the door?
A: Kuro is an intimate space, so in the unlikely event tickets don't sell out, you'll be able to purchase online anytime leading up the event! You do need a ticket to enter, so be sure to check the DC Movie Club socials for day-of updates and keep an eye on this ticket page!
