This fall, DC Jazz Jam will be celebrating the 100th birthday of the late Mel Torme, with a series of "crooners." Kicking off the series on Sunday, Sept. 7th is vocalist Jeff Weintraub -- along with a terrific house band of Jack Gruber (keys), Steve Arnold (bass), and Leland Nakamura (drums).
[Don’t worry guitarists — We always have a guitar amp for those who want to sit in.]
So come sit in with the band and throw your support to a great local joint! 6:30-9:00pm @ Haydee’s (3102 Mount Pleasant Street NW). No cover!
