D.C.-Area SEC Football Kickoff Event
About this Event
The D.C.-area alumni chapters of the Southeastern Conference are hosting a football season kickoff event with our friends at Desert 5 Spot! Come on out and watch the Week 0 games with fellow and rival alums, enjoy great food and drink specials, and celebrate the start of the 2026 college football season.
Each SEC chapter will be represented, from Alabama to Vanderbilt - alums and friends in the area can come by to meet chapter leadership, learn more about how to get involved and upcoming events, and connect with fellow alumni.
Desert 5 Spot will be showing the Week 0 college football games, including the 12:00 PM match-up between UNC and TCU, and the 3:30 PM game between NC State and UVA. They will also be running their Saturday $6 Special, including:
- $6 Burgers
- $6 Wings
- $6 Nachos
- $6 Beer
You are invited to join the party, whether you're cheering for Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, or Vanderbilt - all are welcome, and #ItJustMeansMore.
